Accessibility Statement
Last updated: January 2025 · Motion Theory Rehabilitation Inc.
Our Commitment
We believe that everyone — regardless of disability, assistive technology, or browsing preference — should be able to access health information and connect with our clinic. We are actively working to align our website with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as published by the W3C.
Measures We Take
Motion Theory takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:
- Meaningful color contrast ratios throughout the site (minimum 4.5:1 for body text)
- Keyboard-navigable interactive elements including navigation menus, forms, and buttons
- Descriptive alt text on all meaningful images
- Semantic HTML structure with appropriate heading hierarchy (H1 through H3)
- ARIA labels on interactive controls and landmark regions where applicable
- Resizable text that does not break layout at up to 200% zoom
- Focus indicators on all interactive elements for keyboard users
- No content that flashes more than three times per second
Known Limitations
We are aware of the following areas currently under active improvement:
- Some embedded video content may not yet include closed captions. We are working to address this.
- Certain PDF documents may not be fully accessible to screen readers. Where possible, content is also provided in HTML format.
- Some legacy content sections may not fully meet contrast requirements. These are being reviewed and updated.
Despite our best efforts, some content or features may not yet be fully accessible. We are committed to finding and implementing solutions.
