Performance Rehabilitation

Performance physiotherapy.

Performance physiotherapy sits at the intersection of clinical rehabilitation and strength and conditioning. It is for athletes and active individuals who do not just want to be pain-free. They want to be stronger, more resilient, and physically better than they were before the injury. At Motion Theory, we bridge the gap between clinical discharge and peak performance.

Who It's For

Competitive and recreational athletes who want to return to and exceed their pre-injury level, individuals transitioning from clinical rehabilitation into a strength program, and active people seeking injury prevention through structured physical preparation.

What We Assess

Performance assessment includes movement quality screening, single-leg and bilateral strength testing, power capacity, and sport-specific demand analysis. We identify the physical gaps between your current state and your performance goals.

Treatment Approach

Your performance program is built on a foundation of clinical rigor: correct movement patterns, systematic strength development, and progressive overload. We combine physiotherapy expertise with strength and conditioning principles to build durable athletic capacity.

Common Questions

Is performance physiotherapy just personal training?

No. Performance physiotherapy combines clinical assessment and diagnosis with strength programming. The ability to identify and manage tissue presentations that arise during training is what separates it from personal training.

Do I need to have an injury to benefit from performance physio?

Not at all. Many of our performance patients come to us for injury prevention and physical capacity building, not active injury management.

Can you work alongside my coach or trainer?

Yes. We frequently collaborate with coaches and personal trainers to ensure clinical and performance programming are integrated rather than working at cross-purposes.
