Performance Rehabilitation

Performance Rehabilitation.

Performance rehabilitation bridges the gap between clinical discharge and genuine athletic readiness. Most rehabilitation programs end when pain resolves. Ours ends when you are stronger, more resilient, and objectively ready for your sport or activity demands, not when the injury has quieted down.

Who It's For

Competitive and recreational athletes, active individuals returning from injury or surgery, and anyone whose goal is not just to be pain-free but to perform better than before. Applicable to all sports, from running and CrossFit to hockey, basketball, and yoga.

What We Assess

Performance assessment covers movement quality screening, bilateral and unilateral strength testing, power and reactive capacity, and sport-specific demand analysis. We identify exactly where your current capacity falls short of your performance goals.

Treatment Approach

Your program combines physiotherapy-informed strength and conditioning, movement pattern retraining, power development, and sport-specific preparation. We apply the same structured progression principles to performance that we apply to clinical care: systematic overload, objective tracking, and milestone-based advancement.

What to Expect

Phase 1

Baseline & Foundation

Strength and movement quality baseline. Address any residual clinical deficits before performance loading begins.

Phase 2

Strength & Power

Progressive resistance training, plyometric introduction, and sport-specific power development.

Phase 3

Sport Specificity

Sport-specific conditioning, performance benchmarks, and return-to-competition readiness testing.

Common Questions

When is someone ready for performance rehab versus standard physio?

When your acute injury is resolved and your goal shifts from pain management to capacity building beyond pre-injury level. We can transition you between programs seamlessly.

Can performance rehab reduce future injury risk?

Yes. Structured sport-specific strength training reduces injury risk by 30–50% in active populations. Building durable physical capacity is the most effective long-term injury prevention strategy.

Do you work with professional athletes?

Yes. We work with athletes across all levels of competition. Our protocols are calibrated to your specific demands, professional or recreational.
